Cotswold Grey is an inspirational interiors indie with its roots in the Cotswolds and its heart in the world of culturally-inspired design. Online and in-store you’ll find a treasure trove of eclectic furniture and homeware picked with passion from all over the world to help you create beautiful homes.

Cotswold Grey was born from a passion for travel and beautiful interiors. Owner Simon Jeffrey, who grew up in Moreton in Marsh, is an obsessive collector with an eye for good design who likes nothing more than exploring in exotic locations with his family sourcing the unusual and unique.

Simon’s vision was to create an inspiring space bursting with fascinating and original pieces that could transform interiors and make a space unique. An opportunity arose when the traditional ironmongery shop his father used to run in Moreton in Marsh was put up for sale. Simon took the plunge, bought the building and transformed it into the stunning interiors store it is today.

The traditional shop front on the High Street is deceptive; behind it there’s 16,000 square feet of showroom space created by opening up the interior – now a stunning gallery for furniture, art, furnishings and homeware. A glass atrium was added to showcase contemporary lighting from Europe and its walls are lined with statement mirrors, sculptures and one-off antiques and vintage pieces.

Glass doors lead out to the garden - the perfect setting for our collections of outdoor furniture, stone planters and statuary. Beyond is The Chicken Shed bursting with colourful and unusual pieces sourced from talented artisans here in the Cotswolds and around the world. The Rug Shed boasts a selection of hundreds of stunning carpets including our exclusive designs; and the Stool Shed next to it offers funky, quirky and stylish options on which to place your posterior!

In 2019, Cotswold Grey opened an outlet in Yorkshire. Redbrick, a converted mill at Batley, is a leading specialist destination for interiors where forty of the most innovative and essential names in furniture, art and design are based under one roof. It offers the ideal ‘one-stop shop’ for customers looking for interior design ideas and inspiration. You’ll find Cotswold Grey on the second floor where our friendly and enthusiastic team will be happy to help you.

Our larger merchandise ranges from rustic dining tables to sumptuous sofas (for which we offer a delivery service) but we also stock items you can carry home including glasses, pottery, candles and infusers plus a large selection of floor and table lamps in innovative designs. Much of it is bought direct from the makers which is why we are able to offer competitive prices.

So, if you feel the need to break away from a life of humdrum homewares, visit us in person and let our dedicated team help you embrace a change. We are a creative bunch with plenty of passion, energy and ideas and we love nothing more than helping our customers select the right pieces from our extensive and ever-changing collection. We look forward to seeing you!

Cotswold Grey is a family business and we prefer to deliver your precious purchases ourselves wherever we can to ensure they arrive in perfect order. We operate a ‘man and a van’ service: one of our friendly drivers - Carl or Matt - will be happy to deliver to your door. We like to be upfront about our delivery charges so we keep our shipping prices separate for you to decide whether to collect your purchase or have it delivered.
