A thick slab of old elm, around 120 years old, with one natural waney edge left as it came off the tree. The surface is dry, pale and silvered, with the open grain running the full length and a knot near one end. At 68cm it is a generous size for a bread or serving board, and you can just as easily leave it out in a kitchen as an object in its own right.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
