A long narrow slab of old elm, around 120 years old, with a split running in from one end along the grain and a knot at the centre. The surface is pale and silvered with age. We like this one for its length: at 88cm it will run down the middle of a table as a serving board, and at 3.5cm thick it stays light enough to move about easily.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
