A coffee table in reclaimed elm with two drawers that pull out from either long side, so you can get at them from the sofa or from the chairs opposite.

The top overhangs the base at both ends, a lovely pale honey colour with its edges worn soft and its surface carrying the marks of a long first life. Beneath it the legs are square and gently splayed, giving a sturdy stance, with plain iron rings on the drawers. At 140cm long it suits a large sofa, and each table in this listing varies a little.

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
