A reclaimed elm console table, newly built from old boards, with two drawers and a low plank shelf, and it is the finish that sets this one apart. The elm has been stained dark and then rubbed back, so the pale timber shows through along the edges and across the top, a stunning dark grey brown against the honey colour beneath.

The two drawers sit side by side on plain iron drop pulls, and the shelf gives a second level of storage. Each one is photographed individually, and the finish varies a little from table to table. At 118cm it is a compact console that fits a narrow hallway or the wall behind a sofa.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
