The Arthur vintage console table is a long, low-slung piece of around a hundred and twenty years, sourced in China's Shanxi province and made from solid elm. Its slim top stretches well over two metres, weathered to a soft grey and carrying the knots and grain of the original timber. There is a generous, easy elegance to it — narrow enough to line a hallway, long enough to make a statement against a sitting-room wall, and rustic enough to suit a relaxed country home.
