A generous round coffee table in solid fruitwood, wide enough to serve a whole sofa. The top started out as a mill base, and the shallow dishing across its face is where the grinding stone bore down on it.

It has been left unsealed, so the timber is pale and dry to the touch, and the rim keeps the lovely uneven line it was cut to. The four squared legs stand well inside that rim, joined by plain stretchers, so you can pull a chair up without catching your feet.

At 108cm across it fits into most spaces, and at 45cm it sits level with the seat of most sofas.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
