Around a hundred and fifty years old, our Reg vintage counter began life as a working shop counter in China's Shanxi province, and at over three metres long it still has all the presence of the room it once anchored. The solid elm has worn to a deep, characterful patina across its narrow top, with the dents and colour shifts of generations of daily use left exactly as we found them. It is a rare and genuinely old piece — a long vintage elm counter that works beautifully as a kitchen island front, a shop or studio counter, or a dramatic console against a long wall.
