Around a hundred and twenty years old and sourced in Henan, our Roderick bench is a long, low run of solid elm worn smooth by years of use. The narrow seat and weathered grey surface give it a pleasingly pared-back look, and at over two and a half metres it brings a real sense of age to a hallway or the foot of a bed. We love it as flexible seating — a vintage elm bench that is as happy holding a row of plants or books as it is a couple of people.
