Three drawers, one long one across the top and two smaller ones below, which gives you somewhere separate for keys, candles and the post. Each front is faced with a shaped panel in a soft green, worn and flaked back to the timber in places after about 150 years.

The elm underneath has washed out almost to bone, so the green sits quietly against it and the iron ring pulls read dark against both, giving it the beautiful character you see today. 

It carries a generous amount of storage for something 114cm wide, and at 86cm high it stands taller than a side table, which suits a lamp beside a chair or in a hallway.

Care Instructions

Dust only, with a dry or barely damp cloth. Do not scrub or use cleaning products. The worn areas are part of the piece and will lift if treated.
