A slab of old elm, around 120 years old, with a strongly striped grain and a pronounced knot where a natural notch cuts into one edge. The face is pale and dry, the harder grain standing proud where the softer wood between has worn back. We like the striping on this one. At 86cm it is a long serving board, or a piece to be styled in a kitchen.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
