A very long reclaimed elm sideboard, three and a half metres end to end, with eight doors in four pairs and a removable shelf in every cupboard, so the storage is enormous and each compartment can be arranged to suit. It is newly built from salvaged elm from old barn buildings, the elm cleaned back and finished to a lovely pale washed tone with the old grain and the odd nail hole left showing.

The front is framed and panelled throughout, with iron ring pulls on each door and a plain strong base. This one needs a wall to itself, and it is worth giving it one. At 50cm deep the cupboards take platters and serving dishes with ease, and the top is a generous run of surface for styling.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
