A pair of antique elm benches on splayed round legs, with carved brackets beneath the seat and stretchers between. Each seat is a single plank worn smooth and to a lovely pale colour by around 150 years of use, and both have been left exactly as found, leaving traces of the old dark paint on the legs and brackets. 

They are sold together. At 50cm high they sit at seat height along a dining table, and being so narrow they tuck against a hallway or entryway easily.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
