Antique Loom Brush
This antique loom brush was used around a hundred years ago in a weaver's workshop in China's Shanxi province, where it was used to clean the threads while cloth was being woven by loom. Hand-made from elm, it has a stout turned handle worn pale and smooth by years of use, with the soft, weathered character that only genuinely old tools acquire. It is a small piece of rustic textile history, lovely set on a shelf or grouped with other antique curios.
