Six will sit comfortably round this reclaimed elm dining table, eight when you need the extra places. The top is two generously wide boards set with a narrow gap down the centre, and the elm is left unsealed, so the surface stays dry and open grained.

The elm is salvaged timber from disused barn buildings, and the small imperfections dotted through the boards were left by years of practical use in their past life. T

Square legs braced up into the top at each end, joined by a full length stretcher along the floor, make a plain and strong base. At 99cm across, there is room down the centre for tablescape decorations and serving dishes.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
