Arthur Vintage Elm Console Table
Two drawers sit side by side beneath the top of this handsome vintage elm console table, each pulled by a small iron ring that reads dark against the pale wood. They are shallow drawers, so you can keep keys, gloves and post out of sight while still accessible.
The elm has faded to a soft grey and been left dry and matt, with the knocks and dark marks of a century of use still showing across the top. Square legs stand in from the corners and are joined by a stretcher at each side, leaving the top to overhang.
At 57cm it is deeper than most consoles, generous enough to take a lamp and a tray of glasses without crowding either.
