A stunning long, low sideboard in solid elm, with two generous cupboards and a pair of drawers stacked at one end. Each cupboard has a removable shelf across the middle, dividing it into everyday things above and bulkier ones below.

The elm has been cleaned back to a pale, washed out colour and left unsealed, and the small iron ring pulls sit beautifully dark against it. A good deal of its 120 years still shows in the timber, in the odd nail hole and in edges worn soft.

At 226cm it will fill a dining room wall, and there is depth enough in the cupboards for serving dishes and stacked table linen.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
