A long vintage elm console table with a run of drawers set into the frieze, each with a slim iron drop pull, and a top that overhangs the legs at either end. The elm has been carefully restored, keeping the deep grey brown colour and the open grain of the top after around 130 years of use. We like the plainness of it: a straight top, a straight frieze and ladder stretchers at each end.

At 225cm it will run the length of a hallway wall or sit behind a sofa, with the drawers taking whatever needs putting away and the top left free to be styled.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
