A small reclaimed elm console table with a two door cupboard under the top, so you get closed storage as well as a surface. The doors close on a pair of iron rings, and a low plank shelf underneath adds a second place to put things.

Splayed legs give it a sturdy stance under the wide overhanging top, and the old elm has been cleaned back so the grain and marks in the boards show through. Each one is photographed individually and varies a little in grain and colour. At 87cm wide it fits a narrow hallway, and works just as well beside a bed.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
