The long elm top of our Larkin dining table began life as old timber in China's Yunnan province, and it still carries the deep grain, knots and gentle splits of that earlier life. We have set the salvaged top on a simple hand-cut base, so the wood stays the centre of attention across its generous run of nearly three metres. It works beautifully as a reclaimed elm dining table for long suppers, or as a serving table along a wall, and the weathered grey finish means every mark only adds to its character.

After Care
