A stunning example of a long reclaimed elm dining table. This one has silvered further than most, the colour boards take when they spend years facing the weather on the outside of a building. 

Two broad boards make up the top, with square patches of timber let in here and there where old fixings once sat. Ten will sit round it comfortably, twelve when everyone shuffles up.

Underneath, square legs carry angled braces up into the top and a stretcher runs the full length between them, a plain and beautifully solid way to hold up three metres of elm.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
