Built new from salvaged elm taken out of old farm and barn buildings as they come down to be replaced. The timber is around century old by then, it has been worn back where the softer wood has given way, giving it the character we see today.

Four drawers sit in a row along the 180cm front, each with an iron ring pull that reads beautifully dark against the pale elm, and a shelf runs the full length below them. You can keep the drawers for what needs to be to hand and leave the shelf to be styled with baskets or linens.

The surface is dry and unsealed, pale right through the beautiful open grain, and at 42cm deep the table sits tight against a wall.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
