Rows of linked ochre circles, painted by hand over an off white ground, run across the three drawer fronts and round both sides, and the yellow is a soft, tasteful one rather than anything bright.

The chest is built in solid pine and tastefully finished, with the paint rubbed back along the edges and down the legs in the workshop. The three drawers are generous and run the full width, taking folded clothes and bed linen easily, and at 90cm the top sits at a comfortable height for a lamp.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, which will dull the finish. Knocks will show along the edges where the paint sits thinnest.
