Each pair of doors is framed into its own bay with a moulded surround, a tasteful bit of shape on an otherwise plain front, and the iron ring handles sit flat against the panels.

The old cream paint has been retouched down to the warm timber across most of the doors, a lovely soft finish beside the frame, which has been cleaned back further still. Each of the three cupboards holds a removable shelf across the middle, allowing you to alter each compartment to your needs

It runs 198cm along the wall, short enough for a room that cannot give up a longer piece, and the top sits at 93cm, well clear of a dining chair back.

Dust only, with a dry or barely damp cloth. Do not scrub or use cleaning products. The worn areas are part of the piece and will lift if treated.
