This coffee table is made of two parts, allowing it to be used as one large piece or as two separate tables placed and used as you see fit, leaving a great opportunity to be creative. 

The top follows the shape of the huge tree trunk it was cut from, a broad lobed outline stepping in and out all the way round, with a natural hollow left open where the timber grew around it. The face is end grain, the rings turning out from the heart under a fine crazing of splits.

The outline on this example is more irregular than most, and the slab is deep enough at the edge to read almost like a beam. Stout legs cut from the same heavy timber are set where the weight of the top asks for them, and the whole thing has been finished to a stunning dark grey brown.

It stands 38cm high, low and generous in front of a deep sofa.

Care Instructions

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
