A vintage elm side table with two drawers and a low plank shelf, giving you more storage than its size suggests. The drawers carry plain iron ring pulls, and the top has been cleaned back to a lovely pale grey with the grain showing through in darker lines. A single stretcher on each side keeps the frame solid.

At 44cm deep it suits a bedside as well as a hallway, and the shelf below adds room for storage while leaving the top free to be styled.

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which will mark the surface. Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and expect a little movement in very dry rooms.
