Walter Vintage Console
Slim, plain and quietly handsome, the Walter vintage console is around a hundred and twenty years old and was sourced in China's Henan province. Made from solid elm, it has a narrow top weathered to a soft grey, with the natural grain and a few honest marks of long use running across it. At just over thirty centimetres deep it slips neatly against a wall, making a useful console for a hallway or landing where a fuller piece would crowd the space, and the rustic elm carries an unfussy country charm.
